Random Facts About Me
- My mother raised me with an unconscious belief that I should try almost everything (within reason, of course) at least once - so I did. Soapbox racing, figure skating, ballroom dancing, chess, badminton, volleyball, guitar, clarinet, flute, recorder, piano, horseback riding, modeling, singing, acting, musical theater, ballet, jazz, hip hop, writing, coin collecting, stamp collecting… and the list goes on.
- I hate shopping, unless it’s for books or food. Everything else usually isn’t worth spending my time and money on.
- I love grocery shopping. In fact, at the risk of sounding like someone with an appetite control problem, I’m all for anything that involves food, whether it be making it, baking it, cooking it, shopping for it, or my personal favorite, eating it.
- Disneyland is my Mecca, and I’ve probably gleefully been there more times than the average person someone my age should.
- I’m ridiculously competitive when it comes to things likes sports and games. Usually I won’t hesitate to curb my enthusiasm or repress my urge to do a victory dance, either.
- I am terrified of deep water, fish and the combination thereof. No swimming in lakes or oceans for me—even the mere brush of seaweed against my ankles sends me screaming and flailing towards the shore.
