- I measure everything in chocolate bars. 7.50 for chocolate cake? I could get five Snickers bars for that price!
- I have a deep appreciation for cleaver insults—even if they’re directed at me. Exchanging insults (particularly with The Best Friend Who Moved Away) is one of my ways of bonding with certain people.

- Disneyland is my mecca.
- I am absolutely terrified of: deep water, fish, sharks, whales, things that live in water, lakes, and oceans. Despite this, I still enjoy disturbing myself by reblogging and posting photos of these very things.
- 2006 was the biggest year of my life so far. In that year I: traveled outside north america for the first time, visited israel, england, egypt and the kingdom of jordan, ended a relationship, started my own business, did a 12 state roadtrip to Texas and back, started ballroom dancing, and met someone who had a huge impact on my life.
- Photos of men who 1) have no shirts on, 2) are nearly naked, 3) are posing for anything abercrombie or hollister related, and/or 4) have muscle definition absolutely terrify me. It doesn’t bother me in real life, but in print it just freaks me out.
- I absolutely love grocery shopping; in fact, it’s my favorite kind of shopping.
- As a child, when other kids were playing normal games like tag and house, the best friend and I would play “mental hospital”: we’d pretend we were “mental doctors” who ran a “mental hospital” and a “mental school”, and whenever we went on holiday, we would write back to each other with progress on our search for new ingredients to put in our “mental pills”. Totally normal.
- I’ve had a blog of some kind for almost 10 years now. This is the first blog I’ve had where looking back in the archives doesn’t make me cringe and the idea of business associates, professors or family finding it does not send me into cardiac arrest.
- When I wear a watch, I wear it on my right hand. I’m not left-handed.
