Sunshine: Now back in style!

From the front page of The Vancouver Sun’s Weekend Review:

Sunshine is making a comeback.

I know precisely when it went out of style, too—In fact, I believe it was somewhere between “snow”, “sunsets at 4pm” and “hell”. No joke. I’m more than ready for summer.

Normally, I’d say something about how you can have some of our sunshine, because we have too much of it, even in winter, but it’s been cold lately, so I’m going to not share this year.

I was screaming “OMG I SEE SUNNNN” earlier here at home. I think I annoyed my parents a bit, but seriously, SUNN. Yay, summer! Got any plans for the upcoming one? :)

The weather barely changed during the summer, I guess that’s the bright side of living in a tropical island – or whatever people call it.

Sunsets have been pretty early though. Around 6pm it was already dark, that’s beginning to change. I kind of liked that night came in earlier though…

Y’know, it should just be summer all year long. We’ve gotten enough snow and sleet the past few days to make me feel like moving.

I’m so glad I won’t be waiting at Richmond Centre in the DARK, at 4PM for my next bus home. Thank goodness!
