    I love cicada’s. When my sister and I were little we used to call them “ticks-ticks” because of the sound they make. We used to catch them and play with them. I mean the little black ones from colder weather-the big ones that live in hotter weather are freaky.

    I live in the south (Alabama) and we have those all over the place. Sometimes the noise is so loud it keeps me up at night. The funny thing is, unless you get really close to the trees, you can’t see them anywhere. They liked to hide.
