The XanGo Invasion

I’m back from Salt Lake City, 500+ pictures taken and all.

Going to this year’s anniversary convention (aptly named “XanGo Invasion”) really reaffirmed my love for this company. Besides the announcement that we hit 1 billion in sales (second fastest company to ever hit the 1 billion mark) in less than five years and the unveiling of XanGo TV, it really solidified the idea that XanGo isn’t just a company or a product; It’s a charitable lifestyle that extends all over the world.

[You learn more about the company and its projects at the following sites: XanGo, XanGo's philanthropic movement, XanGo Goodness, XanGo's 5th Anniversary Convention, XanGo Invasion]

I’ve kept the pictures under the cut, mainly because anyone without high speed will probably faint at the size and quantity of the photos. So without further ado…

Me, at the welcome reception. It’s not a future theme without the funky chairs!

Employees for company headquarters, assisting as cashiers at the XanGo store. (XanGo was voted the best company to work for – Can’t you tell? These guys are so happy, they’re dancing on the table tops!)

XanGo’s attending Premiers hit the stage for recognition.

Aaron Garrity, CEO of XanGo.

The Juice bar at the XanGo store. They were even giving out convention-only XanGo candies! They were totally delicious and far too cute.

Clothing models at the XanGo Store. Two lovely ladies handing out shots of XanGo whilst modeling XanGo and XanGo Goodness (right) swag.

Dancers modeling XanGo Swag at The Store. I liked the leather jacket the best (far left, bottom).

On the runway: XanGo sleepwear. They even had two runways in The Store: Pictured here, Grey XanGo throw blanket, Grey XanGo Invasion T-Shirt and Unisex Mangosteen PJ bottoms (Woman, left) and Orange XanGo t-shirt with Unisex Mangosteen PJ bottoms (Man, right).

Orange carpet entry into the store. What an entrance!

The Grand Prize: A customized XanGo Toyota FJ Cruiser. Other prizes included a customized Mini Cooper, a week-long vacation to Hawaii for two, A XanGo Store shopping spree, $5000 in cash, a vespa, a home theater system, and an Apple electronics package.

Aaron Garrity (CEO of XanGo) Sings in front of 10,000. He was surprisingly good! It takes major guts to get up and sing in front of that many people—especially when you’re not a professional singer.

Five of XanGo’s six founders and MC Dave Webb. From left to right: Gary Hollister, Chairman of the board; Aaron Garrity, CEO; Kent Wood, President; Dave Webb, Senior Manager, International Sales and MC for the event; Bryan Davis, Executive VP, International relations; Gordon Morton, President of sales and marketing. Not pictured: Joe Morton, President of International and distributor relations.

Keith Harrell, Motivational Speaker and Trainer, delivering his Keynote message on Attitude.

David Morton, Ph.D. Speaking about the new research development pertaining to the mangosteen fruit.

The DJs for the Futureland Dance Party.

Your future without XanGo. One of the best costumes of the night. It cracked me up!

The squid minion and their leader. She was a little unnerving, always kept a straight face.. Excellent costume for the team, though.

XanGo’s Xanthones and the Free Radicals. Man, left is dressed as a Xanthone with XanGo loaded as his gun; Woman, right is dressed as a Free Radical (which are neutralized by xanthones). Ingenious costume!

It’s just another day at the freak show.

I have no idea what they are, but they look good!

The avon lady and Edward Scissorhands

Pimp alien and disemboweled mutant baby man.

Aluminum foil man. It’s not a futureland party without someone breaking into the aluminum foil!

You can see more pictures here and watch some video coverage of the convention here.

That seemed like a lot of fun. What is Xango exactly? Gosh, I have to look it up. Anyway, there were a lot of Norwegians there…like me…hehe.

    I like the Pimped alien!

Reply: XanGo is a wellness supplement made from the mangosteen fruit; it’s really high in antioxidants and one of the most powerful natural anti-inflammatories available. :) And yeah, there was a lot of Norwegians there! In fact there was this one couple all decked out in their traditional outfits, carrying this massive flag around. Really cool!
